Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Government Undertaking, which provides public transport service to towns and cities within Maharashtra & adjoining states, emphasizes the need to redevelop some of its bus terminals with private sector participation, with an objective to provide quality focused infrastructure facilities with enhanced services and amenities to meet the current & future needs of commuters. The transportation facilities would include bus terminals with passenger amenities, integrated bus maintenance depots and offices for MSRTC along with development of Commercial Complexes.MSRTC has redeveloped several of its bus stations in the state and now desires to take up the modernization of Bus stations through Private Sector Participation (PSP) on 30 years lease basis. In order to implement the policy of modernizing bus stations along with development of Commercial Complexes through Private Sector Participation (PSP), MSRTC is looking for prospective Private Partners (Developers, Builders, Real Estate Players) having experience in Construction/Development and Operation & Maintenance of Passenger Terminals/Commercial Complex projects and interested to take the advantage of implementation of proposed project Re-Development of Bus Station as Bus Port &Commercial Complex at Bhiwandi (Thane)”‘on PSP through ‘Design-Build- Finance-Transfer-Lease (DBFTL) revenue model.
